Food and signature cocktails provided by the finest restaurants.
A fundraiser for The Teachers' Supply Closet, the Spring Social is set to be one of Charleston's premier events. Beginning at 2:00 in the afternoon on April 18, 2010, participants will have the opportunity to visit four homes and gardens in one of Charleston's most beautiful neighborhoods. Each home will host a different style of music, ranging from bluegrass to jazz to opera. Event-goers will enjoy hors d'oeuvres and a signature cocktail that complement the home's musical style. There will also be a silent auction featuring many exciting items, including art from top local artists.
In addition to the regular event, a limited number of tickets are available for a VIP after-party at an additional South of Broad home. Guests of the party will enjoy the music of Ann Caldwell, one of Charleston's most famed musicians.
Tickets for the main event are only $50. VIP tickets that allow entry to both the main tour and the after-party are only $100. Please reserve tickets through this website as soon as possible, as space is limited.
About Teachers' Supply Closet
The Teachers' Supply Closet is a non-profit organization that provides free school supplies to teachers in the Tri-County area who work at schools that have at least 90 percent of their students on the free or reduced price meal program. To stock our store, we accept donations of new and gently used office, school and art supplies, excess inventory, slightly damaged merchandise, outdated and tradeshow products, and make everything available to teachers for use in the classroom. For more information, please visit our main website.
